My life is boring which is why I haven't been blogging lmao but you can catch me on twitter! ;)

The other day my aunt came over and paid a random visit. When I say random I mean really random cause my aunt hasn't been over here in years...not that she isn't welcome but me and my mom are usually the visitors cause we don't live in the fun house everyone wants to chill at lol. So anyways my aunt comes in the house and my mom forgot our little Chihuahua Teddy was running loose. He has a napoleon complex so I think once he saw my aunt he was like "I'm gonna get her and make her scared of me" and that he did lol. I asked my aunt if she was okay and she said she was fine and was even laughing and joking about it. So I'm thinking everything is cool right?

...nope! Today my aunt calls my mom "just to talk" but ended up telling her how she went to the doctors to get a shot because of the bite... so my mom already knew what was up and asked her how much the shot was because she would pay for it. After the phone call my mom turns to me and goes "you owe me $100" I'm like oh I see, so Teddy is just my dog now?! Lol w/e I'll pay it cause I watch all these court shows and have seen how much $ some people have had to dish out :( I can't help but think about the fact that the same day before my aunt got bit she asked my mom to sign some papers so she could take out a loan but my mom refused. Idk maybe I should stop thinking so negatively. But I'm gonna make sure I ask for a receipt from her "doctors visit"...ugh I guess I'll have to put off a pair of sneakers I wanted for a bit lol.

Long time no blog...

Hmmm what have I have been up to?

The last few weeks I've just been hanging out downtown at my internship trying to learn stuff and make myself valuable. The place I intern at is a non profit organization that tries to pair up high school students with mentors who can help them get into college and land their dream jobs. It sounded simple enough and seemed like something I would enjoy doing when I read the ad but after being in the office for a few days I realized I might be doing a bit more than I thought. The business is new and there are still a few rough edges so it's hard to just jump in but I think it's been going...okay?...idk it's hard to tell if I'm liked by a few of the people there lol.

Every week a group of high school kids come in and discuss their issues and stuff preventing them from achieving their goals. Last week was the first time I was in charge of the group's discussion. Of course it had to be the week a fight broke out! Everyone was sitting around filling out their sheets and talking amongst themselves. All of a sudden two girls get up and I hear "fine, let's take it outside then!" so I look up to figure out what the problem was while everyone else gets quiet. One of the men who's in charge was standing right next to me so I was waiting to see what he was gonna do but all he does is stand there. Then the guy leans over to me and he's like "This isn't any of our concern we will let them work this out amongst themselves". So I'm sitting staring while one girl is already leaving the room to go outside and the other one is getting up to leave. One girl whose friends with both tries to stand in the way to block her from going outside. The girl didn't say anything, all she did was pick up her friend and moved her out the way and left! ROTFL everyone was speechless!Now the rest of the girls are hanging out the window to see the fight while people from the street are crowding around. Luckily the other guy who runs the program came out and managed to break them up.

We managed to get the girls to sit back down and continue their project. I thought we had got everything back to normal but then all of a sudden I hear "WHAT! You want to press charges!", both of the girls mothers had came down and were pissed! Ugh :( so yea the group session was basically over after that lol. After everyone had left I stayed around talking to the two men who run the program. I thought everything was fine on my part because it's not like I could have prevented the incident. But then C* (who broke up the fight) was like "I'm surprised you didn't break them up"....um do you see my stature? lol It kinda irked me because 1. I'm not a ref and 2. your buddy G* was right next to me and didn't do anything. I guess I'm missing something?... idk.

Crazy that has been my highlight since summer began :(
